This service includes 2-3 in-person meetings during pregnancy. We create space to discuss the physiologic birth process, preferences, and concerns. It’s a chance for me to learn how to best serve you during your birth. I go on-call at 38 weeks. During labor, I am present and available for emotional and physical comfort measures. I make sure your preferences are honored as possible. Immediately post-birth I am present 1-2 hours as needed. I offer 1 follow-up visit to help process and honor your experience, as well as connect you with any community resources.

I believe anyone who wants a doula should have access to one. Please contact me if cost limits any ability to hire me as your doula. I am pursuing Medicaid coverage but do not currently offer this payment option.
I can provide itemized receipts for HSA/FSA reimbursement. I also offer various payment options.
FAQs
What does it mean to be on-call?
Once you become a client, I am available by phone to answer questions during business hours. At the start of your 38th week of pregnancy, I become available 24 hours/7 days a week for start of labor concerns and updates.
Can my partner participate?
Of course! A partner or another main support person is welcome at in-person meetings. I am available to help you assemble a team of people you trust for your birth and postpartum. Your loved ones know you best, and I am happy to come alongside them to offer you the kinds of support best suited for you.
Do I really need postpartum support?
Sometimes, so much focus is spent on getting to labor, that our needs post-birth catch us by surprise. On top of meeting the needs of a newborn, the postpartum phase includes a mother recovering from vaginal or surgical delivery. Doula support during this time ensures the mother’s needs are met so the baby’s are too. If you find yourself postpartum and needing more help than you expected, reach out. It’s not too last minute and no task is too mundane.
